Responsible for all aspects of the project purchase during the conceptual, preliminary, detailed design, Erection and commissioning phases. � Monitoring requisitions with respect to diversified plants. � Assigning vendors for standard & brought out items consisting of all domains ranging from consumables, spares & equipments. � Leading edge for procurement & service Contracts for EPC. � Studying, preparing, evaluating & freezing of techno- commercial offer. � Negotiating offers to meet Company�s estimated costs pertaining to IP�s for various projects. � Reviewing, optimizing & developing new & old vendors by on floor visits so as to ensure genuine quality of material. � Generation of PO�s followed by monitoring of internal dependent processes through Oracle ERP. � Effective utilization of funds even at the hour of crisis. � Generation of weekly MIS for dynamic work execution. � Provide inputs and advice as required during the construction, commissioning and start-up phases of the project. � Visiting plants on regular basis to monitor the growth of plant development. � Attend weekly progress meetings with other members of the Development team and ensure that problems and requirements that need input from other disciplines and departments are fully explained and expedited.
